This course is perfect for System Administrators, Engineers, and Operators responsible for setup, support, and troubleshooting of ESX 4 Server and/or VirtualCenter who are interested in a compact yet powerful 4 day course. The Adminstration Fundamentals course is intended for IT Professionals with 1 or more years of server and infrastructure experience and system administration experience on Microsoft Windows and/or Linux.

Students who complete the course will be eligible to take the Official Certified Virtualization Expert® 4.0 Exam. Delivered in a professional testing environment, this two hour exam is designed to validate the information covered in the Administration Fundamentals course, and certify the student as a subject matter expert in the application of Virtualization technologies. To receive the certification the student must successfully complete the Administration Fundamentals class and pass the examination with a 75% score or higher.
