IBM DB2 Administrator
Start date: Immediate
Work Location: Downtown Toronto (Yonge/Dundas)
TekSource is currently seeking a senior IBM DB2 Administrator for this preferably permanent full-time position. We will also review and consider qualified contractors for a one year contract.
Note: Eligible candidates must have valid federal security clearance (Minimum of enhanced) or be eligible to obtain security clearance.
To obtain federal security clearance you must be a Canadian citizen and have worked/lived in Canada for the past five consecutive years.
Requirements:
- Strong background in transactional Database management with a minimum of three years supporting DB2
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Self-starter personality capable of providing technical leadership
- Collaborative, energetic and detail minded
